Job Description:

Growing manufacturing facility in Commerce, CA is looking for detail-oriented QA Inspectorsfor the afternoon and night shifts to join the Quality Team. Youll inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, conduct quality tests, and support production teams in maintaining food safety and quality compliance.

SCHEDULE:
Afternoon shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Wednesday -Sunday
Night shift 11:00pm-7:30am Tuesday - Saturday DUTIES:Quality Control & Inspections: Perform inspections on materials and finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.Problem Solving: Work with the quality and operations teams to investigate and resolve issues.
Testing & Analysis: Conduct product testing, including organic residual testing using Gas Chromatography (GC-MS & GC-FID).
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain records, complete audits, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP).
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and assist with quality management updates.
Training & Support: Train new employees on quality procedures and provide ongoing support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing; quality lab experience is a plus.
• Education: Must read, write, and do basic math in English; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication (Spanish is a plus), attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly.
• Problem-Solving: Experience with quality systems, data analysis (SPC, SQC), and root cause analysis.
  • Able to identify and fix food safety and quality issues.
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical documents and write clear reports.
  • Willing to help train others on quality processes.
