future of fandom belongs to the fans. The Role: You will be
responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and closing deals
with sports content creators on Twitter and Instagram in order to
build relationships and partnerships within key communities. Your
goal is to create lasting and beneficial relationships that will
enhance our product offering, and brand visibility. You will play a
crucial role in driving our marketing efforts and expanding our
reach in the sports community. Responsibilities:
- Identify and research sports content creators with substantial
followings on Twitter and Instagram.
- Present and pitch our promotional packages to content creators,
highlighting the benefits and value propositions.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to secure promotional
partnerships in collaboration with the Growth Team.
- Maintain a database of contacts and manage ongoing
relationships with influencers.
- Collaborate with the marketing/partnerships team to align
outreach strategies with overall marketing goals.
- Track and report on outreach and sales activities, including
success rates and feedback from influencers. Minimum
Qualifications:
- Proven experience and ongoing work in sales, outreach, or
influencer marketing, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly
Twitter and Instagram.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach
campaigns simultaneously.
- Passion for sports and technology is a plus.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Please
note that the position is a 1099 contract-based role and not a
full-time employment opportunity. As an independent contractor, you
will have the flexibility to manage your schedule and workload. We
have an established targeted compensation range for this contract
role. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across different
U.S. geographic markets. Salary ranges are determined by role and
level, and pay will vary based on location. The anticipated salary
range for this position is $30 - $50 hourly. Within the range,
individual starting pay may vary based on permissible,
non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and
qualifications, in addition to location.
