The Neonatal Care Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Women's and Children's Services and will work closely with other unit managers to support hospital-wide goals. In this role, the Nurse Manager NICU will lead a team of dedicated NICU nurses and collaborate closely with dietitians, lactation consultants, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, case managers, and neonatologists to ensure exceptional care outcomes.
The Neonatal Care Nurse Manager will oversee a 27-bed Level 3 NICU department, offering an environment that promotes family-centered care practices, such as Kangaroo care, to support the health and bonding of our smallest patients. The Nurse Manager NICU will serve as a leader and mentor for NICU staff, providing clinical expertise to promote skill development and uphold the highest standards of care. Administratively, the Nurse Manager NICU will manage budgets, oversee staffing, and work to strengthen departmental performance, partnering with leadership to drive quality initiatives and maintain operational efficiency.
